Become A Fellow

We are happy you are interested in becoming a Fellow of The Path. Here is a little more information:

Site member vs. Fellow (quick distinction)

• Site member: Signed up on the website and therefore will receive news and have access to the blog!

• Fellow of The Path: Completed the Core course (required documents + acknowledgements). Fellows gain the right to use Fellowship wording, participate in member-only resources, and appear in the Fellowship directory (unless they set their profile private).

Benefits of becoming a Fellow

• Access to Fellows-only downloads and seasonal ceremony packs.

• Permission to use the title Fellow of The Path and the Fellow badge for your profile.

• Priority access to new downloadable rituals and study guides.

• Inclusion in non-public community notices (still asynchronous - no one-on-one contact).

Required steps to become an official Fellow (self-paced)

Complete these items:

1. Register for an account on the website.

   • Become a member

   • Follow the directions in your welcome email on how to become a Fellow of The Path

2. Complete the Core course checklist​

3. Submit the Fellowship Application​

4. Review & welcome​

Completion requirements (what we check)

• You have read and acknowledged the Safety & Consent Policy and No-DM policy.

• You have completed the Core checklist.

• You have accepted the Fellowship terms regarding consent, reporting, and safety.

• You understand and accept that no one-on-one mentoring is offered by admin or other Fellows.

Privacy & Profiles (what you control)

• After signing up you may set your profile to Private at any time.

• Private profile: your profile will not appear publicly in the Fellowship directory and only limited info will be visible to other members.

• Important safety note: Admin (site owner / Member Safety Group) will always be able to view full profiles and membership records for safety, reporting, and record-keeping purposes. By applying to become a Fellow you acknowledge and accept this limited admin visibility.

• If you have special privacy concerns, contact us via the reporting form and we will assist with additional safety planning.

FAQ (short)

Q: How long does it take to become a Fellow?
A: It’s self-paced. Most people finish the Core course in less than an hour. 

Q: Will Fellows see my private profile?
A: No - only admin can see full profiles. Fellow members see only what you make public. You control that in Settings.

Q: I need private help - who do I contact?
A: We do not offer one-on-one sessions. Use the reporting form to request external referrals (counseling, legal, medical). If you are in immediate danger, call local emergency services.

Q: Can I leave the Fellowship later?
A: Yes. Email ringotlightfellowship@gmail.com and request removal; we will remove your Fellow badge and public listing within 3 business days.
